With so much going on in our world, those of us with heightened sensory awareness, intuition and empathic abilities are aware of a LOT of different frequencies of energy around us in our personal lives, and that we are exposed to through our social media networks or work environments.
Within us we have the ability to adjust and calibrate our internal energy flow and emotional state, but when we are overly externally focussed we entrain or align with the energies around us. With such a lot of varied experiences that we are observing or participating in this creates an unfortunate obstacle to our ability to attune to our own signature energy, and also in accessing our intuition and deeper wise self.
Are you focussed on external energies? Is this focus benefitting you and helping you be more connected to your self, to learn more about yourself, and assisting you in expressing your higher aspirations and desires to direct the way you experience your life?
When we focus our attention on external people and situations that are out of our control WITHOUT counterbalancing this with inward focus to rebalance and align with your energy system addressing any imbalances and refocussing on what it is that feeds your spiritual growth, we give our power away. We lose our way.
Our sensitivity and heightened awareness is a strength when we use it to be aware when we are out of balance and reconnect to our wise self.
If you are overly externally focussed you might feel helpless, hopeless, vulnerable, emotional, excessive fear, surges of anger, spinning your wheels, becoming obsessive, ungrounded, deep sadness, disconnected from the body, floaty, reactive, unclear where you are going in life, like your intuitive sense has deserted you, and like you are surrounded by people, thoughts, and experiences that aren’t yours. If you are “not home” AKA out of your body a lot, then you will be feeling and tuning into a wide range of emotions and energies, dark and light, that are not yours.
Some of these experiences are likely part of a path to clear emotions and energies that are not serving you, but to complete that process you need to employ your heightened awareness to focus on yourself, and fully releasing that which is not yours.
